Do you have any plants in your home or salon? Ok, What kind?
The Truth About Me and Plants!
I grew up seeing plants in my grandmother's house, but I didn't know the significance. Of course I knew that they gave off oxygen but...
It wasn't until about 5 years ago that I learned how important plants REALLY are! They are nature's medicine! They have so many benefits to our overall health!
They are one thing from my list of things that you should have in your salon and home to have a clean environment. They purify the air, cure sicknesses, ailments, balance hormones, build immune systems, etc.
Well as much as I am known for growing and nurturing any head of hair, I will kill a plant with the quickness! I mean, I just don't understand what I am doing wrong! LOL
When I moved into my new location of Euphoric Essence Salon, one of my really good friends gifted me with 3 plants...Lawd why? lol Looking back, I am so thankful that she did! I am glad to let you know that 2 are still living and thriving after 1 year!! I am so proud of my plants like they are my babies!
What I am most proud of is the fact that they protect me and my clients from harmful bacteria/toxins in the air. Yes just their existence has given me a better quality of life. When people enter into my salon, they always mention that my salon does not smell like I am doing hair. Thank you to my Snake Plant and my Peace Lily!
As a Wellness Coach with a Specialty in Environmental Wellness, I suggest you get some toxin killing plants into your salon and home. So many toxic fumes come from hair color, relaxers, perms etc. Minimize your exposure with a natural solution!
